It seems makemkv.com has been taken offline by their ISP. Either he didn't pay his ISP's bill, or this is a legal attack from the "powers that be" (Sony, AACS, MPAA, etc.). Hopefully the developer is OK.
Sadly, Videohelp.com does not currently have any mirrors available:

Edit 09/08/12 - Videohelp.com now has a download mirror from their own site. Scroll down for the beta key.
If anyone knows of any mirrors please post them!

no. the program was only "good" for a month with a beta key anyway. a mirror wouldn't do you any good as the last key has expired.

Corvius - I had to throw a fit on your behalf about this being closed to get it reopened so I hope you appreciate it. For those who don't know some interlopers decided it would be freakin' hilarious to post political comments in this thread as a "joke" and an overzealous moderator decided that rather than delete the comments (which has now been done) that it made so much more sense to just close the thread. I threw a fit in another thread about it and he finally did the right thing in reopening the thread and getting rid of the comments. -

Over the weekend the site was back up without explanation. This morning "Mike" posted the following:
As many of you had noticed, our website was not available (with a message "account suspended") for the last few days. Due to some miscommunication, our website was suspended by our hosting provider. The issue is resolved for now and we are taking additional steps to make sure actions like that won't happen again. Yet, as we are now at mercy of our hosting provider, future disruptions are possible.
Please be assured that we are evaluation all options and taking steps in many directions to ensure availability of makemkv.com, and be rest assured that MakeMKV is under active development and support, despite annoying issues that get in a way.

The site makemkv.com is actually online and working correctly. It has just moved and has a new IP-address.
The problems seems to be the DNS servers not being updated yet, so a quick solution is to update your host file temporarily.
Append the following line to the your host file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ets\host on windows systems):
95.213.137.146 www.makemkv.com # Temporary fix, remove after a couple of daysLast edited by LittleBull; 9th Oct 2017 at 14:02.
