    The first thing I did when I got my Apex 3201 DVD player home was disable Macrovision and make it region free. I just noticed on Apex's website that there is a firmware update for this player. My question is this..

    If I upgrade the firmware, does that kill the ability to hack the DVD player? Furthermore, what additional features or big fixes are included in this firmware upgrade?

    I too also just purchased a APEX AD-3210 DVD player and want to know what does the firware upgrade do?

    Does anyone know the answer?
