Im running into some vdub issues over the last few weeks using version 1.10.4 mainly 32bit one.
When i do a 40G huffyuv post process to ~L1-MP4@1620kbps im getting 13.2 fps, is that normal? See screenshot.
Last night another job only took6 mins for a small clip of this video, which i think was about maybe 10% of the entire clip.
Also, i have been seeing a thread lock frequently on VDUB, last week, so i had cleaned out the registry entirely, reset all my settings, then i finally started getting good captures. Now im in the post process and im seeing this, and i believe other circumstances cause this threadlock now and then when im hard on her, e.g. aborting, clicking around too fast.
Im simply not used to seeing these threadlocks ever on my system from any version of vdub before, and not seeing things taking this long. However, im using new codecs, i used to use an older ffdshow_rev3631_20101115_clsid, now im using straight new xVid Video Codec, and x264vfw - H264/MPEG-4 AVC codecs only.
Not sure where my problem is, but im considering different version of vdub i think.
Here is my filter chain. I Could use some help on that if thats the problem too. Im still a novice at encoding, after 15 years of using virtualdub, lol. (actually leaving the chroma smoother was a mistake)
Any suggestions?
