    Does DVDfab allow ripping of full disk to a hard drive? It seems to allow only movie only? It doesn't seem capable of ripping episode disks?

    DVDFab can rip the entire disc, yes. This includes episodic Blu-ray or DVD's. Using DVDFab 9xxx in Copy Mode, click where it says Main Movie on the left side. This gives a list of options.

    yes full disc
    NOT sure you can get separate episodes at the same time
    that might require other software applied to the unprotected HD copy
    or
    using main movie, and copying episodes one by one
