Hi all, I would greatly appreciate any assistance provided to me.
I am attempting to create blu rays from self-made recordings using the Hauppauge HD PVR 2 and the software Hauppauge Capture or Arcsoft Showbiz.
However, when I use TsMuxer and burn to either "blu-ray folder" or "avchd folder" the discs are not compatible with my blu ray players or my PS3. At
I've used the original h264 ts files, I've used an mkv version of the file. and each time the discs load and stay on a black screen.
At this point, I don't care about the best quality, I just want to be able to burn to blu rays that are compatible with my players. Is there something about the settings of my recordings that is causing this?
Thank you.
P.S. I have no issue with burning blu rays using other people's recordings that I download online.

AAC audio is not supported on BluRay. But I don't know if that's the (only) reason it's failing.

I tried a different file of mine with MPEG audio and that did not work either. Here is the log for that.

May I convert from AAC to AC3 audio using Handbrake? And if I burn in TsMuxer using "blu ray iso" will that be playable on Blu Ray players or PS3?

look at the blu-ray specs. mpg audio isn't allowed either. click on "what is/blu ray" tab at the top of this site. --

I thank all of you for your help. With your assistance, I got the blu rays to work. They work on my blu ray players, both audio and video. Unfortunately, the sound, in AC3, is messed up on PS3 playback. I don't know how to explain it, but there is sound on the PS3, but it just bounces up and down. Would anyone know the fix to that?
