I am having a problem with TMPGE, whenever I capture to either Huffy or Picvideo mjpeg compresser, I cant load it into TMPGe. It says that it is unsupported. Has anyone else had this problem? The codex is obviously installed, since i'm capturing it on that computer.
Any Ideas? I bought a reg of PICVideo because I thought it would work, but now...

I am having the same problem, but I would like to add that the codec works fine with Windows Media Player and my video capture card, but tmpegnc and Virtualdub can't see it. If it helps I also installed DirectX8.1 right after installing the codec.

here should be the answer to your problem....look in the environmental section of TMPGE..select VFAPI plug-in..increase the AVI priority to the top. if that doesnt work try the direct show...i had the same problem a while back and found these settings to be ythe problem..i don't excatly remember how i did it i just remember under the VFAPI plug-in.........

Yep, I had the same problem and had to bump up one of the afore mentioned settings to a number higher than anything else. Sorry I can't look to see which one right now as I'm in the middle of an encode.
