What is an acceptable frame loss rate??? Seems like I am losing about 50 frames to every 1000 frames captured. Is that acceptable??? The video seems to turn out ok, but i was just curious what everyone else out there was dropping frames at!
Ohh yea....that frame loss rate is based on capture using the
Dazzle DVC 80 w/ Ulead Visual Studio 6, which by the way seems to be an ok combo.....It seems to be just as good as using the Dazzle DVC 150 High speed USB 2.0 w/ Movie Star 5....mainly because Movie Star 5 BLOWS, and i can't get the DVC 150 to work with anything else! It causes me to have to go through multiple steps to render my video in acceptable quality......And its just not worth the work that it takes! Since the DVC 80 works perfectly with Ulead, it makes it a better choice for me even though the Video Quality is a little less than DVC150......
