A lot of the burn software DVDit, MyDVD, etc. will convert (decode/encode) the DivX AVI files with audio to MPEG to put on DVD. I know it isn't as good quality as some of the other programs like TMPGEnc, but I'd like to save some time too. The one problem with these authoring programs is that they "stretch" the AVI to a 4:3 aspect ration, completely distoring the picture. Is there any authoring software that will take it like it is, center it, and encode to MPEG2?
I also just tried Ulead DVD Workshop, but it also "stretches" the ACI as well. Maybe there's an "ini file" tweak or registry tweak that will tell these programs to not do that?
