This questions is in regards to Skype (which I have to use for work), so I hope this is appropriate to post here . . .
The problem is my Skype video recordings are often being automatically cropped, and I don’t know why.
For my job, I record a number of Skype video interviews and before I begin, I make sure that the person is completely centered. However, after I view the recording/file, I often find that the top of their head, or the bottom of their chest, has been cropped.
Why is Skype not recording the whole screen that I am seeing?
What is even more frustrating, is that the file icon DOES show the entire screen, but not when I click it to play it back.
So is the whole screen/file still there somewhere? Can I fix and repair the cropped screen somehow? Or is there a setting that will allow me to record the entire screen as I see it, and not have to guess which parts may be cropped or not?
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks for any help!
