I am still trying to figure out how do people get such a good quality of VCD capture since the bit rate is so low, for example rich @ www.pcphotovideo.com gets a kick ass quality on his captures.
I have a Radeon AIW MMC 7.6 too but no matter how I try I can not get it do so nice.

    Thanx

Haven't seen the clip but I'm guessing if its like others I've seen they do a uncompressed capture and then convert to vcd or svcd with virtualdub or other program that very carefully (i.e. slowly) converts a movie to another format frame by frame. If you are like me and use the quick and dirty method (i.e. tell our ATI software to record and compress at the same time) it would be very difficult to get those kind of quality results. I don't know about you but my time is more valuable so I crank up bitrate to the highest my DVD player will accept and live with that--which is still pretty good IMHO. If anyone tells you that this way is wrong or that way is wrong--tell 'em to stuff it up their ass--its all personal choice!
