how to create the simplest video????

Hi I am beginner. I have a webcam now that is logitech and can record video.

I want to make a video in which I will say something, to be uploaded to youtube. However, I will not show my face, the importance is my voice and the contents, not my face and I will just let a simple random picture (which can be stationary) to be put into the video

How to do that? quality is not a problem because the content is important, and size is important becoz I will upload to youtube.

and I am not promoting for click rate or earning $$ , no no no, not for that , just for a small group of people

You could take a look at DVD slideshow GUI as it seems to fit your description. Also, VirtualDub and AVIDemux as editors may be useful.
