    Is there a way to get the chapters out of a VOB file so I can use it in MKVMerge and keep the chapters exactly the same as they were on the DVD?

    Search "chapter" in the tools section.....but the chapter info is not in each VOB file.

    Yep like chaptergrabber or chapterextractor. You need the complete video_ts folder.

    Chaptergrabber keeps crashing on me the second I open an IFO file
    ChapterXtractor I cant even figure out how to use or load an IFO or DVD into it.

    I ended up using DVDDecrypter to get the Chapters. It can save the chapter info as OGG (Or several others) and they work perfectly.
