I'm trying to rip a DVD, but when I play the output VOB file there is no audio and from what I can tell there is no audio track there. The DVD plays fine within DVDshrink but when I back it up the resulting file has no audio. Can anyone help?

Did you just get one VOB from dvdshrink?
How do you test play it? Try VLC media player.
Have you tried ripped with something else? Like anydvd, dvdfab decrypter, makemkv. -
I've tried using DVD decrypter which has the same result, but I can output a VOB file which is audio only, just not video AND audio

try using an up to date decrypter such as dvdfab. dvd decrypter hasn't been updated in a longtime and
can't handle newer dvd's.
