How do I do this? I have a subtitle stream inside the MKV, and I want to hardsub it into a MP4 using TX264.

DO you have to use tx264?

I would use vidcoder. Load mkv, click the Subtitles Edit button, select subtitle track, select burn in, select the high profile. Convert.

Vidcoder is glitched with me, displays a huge amount of text and crashes. So yeah, I have to use TX264.

I don't think it has any hardsub support.

    Maybe try tencoder.

Thank you, I'll use that. Also, would you happen to know how to fix this? I get this when I use a newer build of Handbrake or Vidcoder as I said.

    DO you have .net 4?

You'll need .NET 4 (only the client profile is needed). If you don't have it, VidCoder will prompt you to download and install it. If you're on Windows 8 you shouldn't need to install anything; it has .NET 4 pre-installed.

When do you get that error? Directly at start? Start encoding?

Try the portable version of vidcoder.

I get it directly at the start. Portable doesn't work either.

I would post a bug/crash report to the developer.
