I've searched a bit and have not yet found a descent, definite answer.
Music video - Plays too fast - Want to physically slow it down to match the original CD audio and eventually replace the audio with the CD audio.
This has nothing to do with NTSC or PAL or pulldowns or anything like that. I want to tear this video down and fix it.
I need to be able to HEAR the audio as I select the percentage/ratio to slow it to. I know the original song by heart so it will be easy for me to HEAR when the piano sounds "in tune" so to speak.....when the pitch is right.
The key thing I need to hear it as I slow it.....with video and audio in sync.
Possible?

If I were to do this in the editing tool I use, Sony Vegas, I would put both the video file and the CD track on the timeline, then stretch the video until its audio track waveform lines up with the CD waveform. Finally, delete the audio track and render out the video track and CD track as a new file.

The video was made with some sort of "radio edit" version of the song which I have not located yet. I need to just get it to the correct pitch, then I'll later need to edit my own radio edit to match. Not looking forward to that, I suck and audio editing...audio time-stretching is no problem.

That's easily done in a program like Ableton Live. I think they have a free trial. Yeah, here it is https://www.ableton.com/en/trial/
