Humans in video are tall

Some videos i convert to 16:9 aspect ratio from 4:3, the humans look very tall and
stretched. What should i do to fix it?

Easy, butcher the video by cropping the sides to make it 4:3

That is very odd. Converting from 4:3 to 16:9 should make people look fat. Converting from 16:9 to 4:3 should make people look skinny.

I suspect that the picture area contained in the original 4:3 video is not 16:9. Can you post a screen shot from the original 4:3 video?
