Need help with Dazzle Hollywood from VCR

I need some help. I am ready to pitch this thing.

My current setup.

VCR with R/C cables to the In ports of Hollywood DV Bridge. (Audio using a Y connector for Left and Right with video to the video port)

Once it gets to the Hollywood it goes out of Hollywood DV Bridge with firewire to a Dazzle EV editor 2 port Firewire card.

If I try to use the Hollywood to go from my Digital Camcorder via firewire from camcorder to Hollywood through it and to the Dazzle DV editor it works fine.

Anytime I try to go from VCR I get nothing. In software it says that there is no device.

I have read and followed the directions exactly many times. Nothing. I could not find anything here either so I thought I would ask.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need any questions you can respond and I will answer them.

On my Hollywood Bridge there is a little gray switch on the same side that the INPUT cable come in, that tells you DV to A or A to DV, (Digital Video to Analog or Analogh to Digital) I have to manually switch this to get the signal to the software, I use Adobe Premiere 6.0 and it works. Something you can try if your device has this switch.
