I guess VSO Downloader and Replay Catcher Media are the best, (in fact, VSO is like magic and 100% free, I can't understand why Replay Catcher Media is still sold at 49.99)

Are they already the best? Do they catch the exact copy or do they encode / modify it during the process? What is your software to do catch?

I have both actually and although I paid for Media Replay, I must say that VSo Downloader has some nice features like recognizing the video but not downloading unless I tell it to. With RMC, I have to hit stop all the time, peruse the video, click start, reload the web page so its at the beginning, click start and then click play, then click stop once the capture starts.

I informed RMC of this but....

Replay Media Capture does have 2 methods of capture, Network Monitor and WinPcap just in case one doesn't work but the only time I switch is when RMC does it's nasty habit of failing until I switch off WinPcap and then back on.

Bottom line, for me, VSO has failed on rare occasions, RMC has not but it's quirky

If I remember correctly, RMC and VSO have conversion ability but it is selectable so normally they do not. Also RMC downloads all the sizes automatically if they are available. This can be nice or a nuisance since you have to decide which to delete.
