Not sure what to call this issue but I'm getting these menu looking pop-ups that look like mouse over boxes. There is no way to get them to disappear and see/read what is underneath.

    Apparently that's a Javascript issue.

Probably you'd better block Javascript for google.com, besides making sure the user-agent string IS NOT

"Firefox blah-blah-blah etc etc etc yadda yadda yadda"

  4. I'm not seeng the dropdown boxes in PaleMoon either (version 24.7). I tried disabling AdBlock (the only plugin I'm using I think could block them) but they're still not showing.
I kind of remember seeing them a while ago (maybe a few weeks ago), and thinkimg how annoying the were, but I'm pretty sure they only appeared a few times while searching one afternoon and I've not seen them since.

I turned off all my plugins and everything works fine. Now I have to find out which plugin or user script is messing everything up.

Trimmed my Extensions down to Adblock Latitude, Clean Links (cuts all the crap off of links that send you everywhere except where you were trying to go to), Greasemonkey, Stylish and YouTube High Definition.

I do notice that under Appearance, it says Default 28, The default theme is incompatible with Pale Moon.

Good to have everything working again and I didn’t have to get rid of any extensions that I really need.

    Thanks everyone for your help.

I spoke too soon. Opened Pale Moon up to do my nightly surfing and there was the same Google page as pictured above.

I came here thinking this was a thread about ripping a DVD of one of those stupid vampire movies.

I tried it and along with it not working, there were to many buttons to have to turn on and turn off. I tried four or five different no script or on and off plugins.

I ended up resetting the browser. I didn't realize there was actually a button to reset the browser as Johns0 advised. That is what I had to do which forced me to manually reset everything. I was able to get my bookmarks from the back-up file. I haven't added any plug-ins yet.
