    I'd simply like to ask you about web videos being shown on a player from a web page,
    does the web video gets automatically cached to the viewers' computer or device?

    You can check it with VideoCacheView. But most streaming sites doesn't save any complete cache of the video (on your hdd).

    Or you simply check your temporary internet files folder ie the cache.

    But as Baldrick states these days the player just gets a small section of the video and does not store the complete file in the cache.

    If you need to save it you must use other methods.
