Hi everyone,
I am searching for a plugin that can sort of automatically color time two sources of video to look the same. Let me elaborate a little.
Currently I have a hobby project where I am taking some recent Japanese Blu Rays of Jackie Chan films and I'm creating hybrid fan versions with custom English subs and so forth.
These Japanese Blu Rays have the only genuine HD transfers of some of these films anywhere. Most old Jackie Chan films on Blu Ray are upscales from Fortune Star who is apparently too cheap to do new scans and restorations of these old Hong Kong classics.
Fortune Star does not have the rights to the Japanese market for these films apparently and new scans have been done from the theatrical prints.
These look the best, but usually there are some problems. There are some specks and dirt which I don't mind too much. But frequently these transfers look "off". Police Story is too blue for example.
What I would like to do is color time these videos using a DVD standard definition version of these films as a source.
What would be ideal is a plugin for Premiere or another program (Speedgrade maybe?) where I can automatically match the colors of the HD video to a standard definition source that has better color.
Does this make sense? Most color timing work is beyond my ability. Is there some easy plugin or solution out there for what I am looking for?
To be clear, two videos that have exactly the same contents. Scene by scene, I want to match the color of the HD video to the standard definition video.
Thanks for the help.

There are several other plugins as well, like BCC Color Match (Borix FX plugin) -
I saw that link when I googled "colorlike". The problem is that all the links to download the plugin on that thread are dead. It really seems perfect for what I am trying to do too.
Any backup links? Maybe someone who already has it could Dropbox it or something like that? -
It's "coloUrlike" , with a "U" - like the British and Canadians spell it

Thanks so much! You have been extremely helpful. I'll check out this plugin and see if it does what I need it to do.
