Hi, I just got a 3D TV and have been burning 3d subtitles onto 3D movies by converting srt files to sup files and merging them onto an mkv using Ripbot264 (v. 1.18.1). Ripbot has always worked fine, except it only seems to work with mkv files of 1.2 gb or less. Before I figured this out, I tried re-installing Ripbot and its required auxiliary programs, and even did so on no less than 3 separate computers. Usually (with smaller files) when I run Ripbot, Ripbot allows me to navigate to the sup file I want. The problem is that Ripbot just hangs and doesn't let me navigate to the sup file if I'm using a larger mkv file of 1.7 gb. I thought I had some bigger problem until I tried using a smaller mkv file (1.2 gb) after the Ripbot hang-up and it worked fine. Does anyone know a workaround for this, or know of a different program I can use?

The author of the program seems to read some of the RipBot posts here and may respond, or someone here may have an answer.
I use the program, but not in that way.
The only thing I can suggest is to try an older version of RipBot, maybe back in the 1.5X versions. Sometimes the newer versions may have bugs. -
Ok, thanks. I just looked back at other vids I converted a while ago and one of them was 2.2 gb, so maybe somehow I just have a bad mkv file. I should add I'm using a 2.6 ghz processor with 6 gb of RAM.

I have found that Ripbot264 simply does not work to merge subtitles into certain video files. For some videos, Ripbot hangs when I want to navigate to a sup file to add. I hope someone experienced with Ripbot can help me out w/ this. My assumption that file size had something to do with the problem turned out to be unfounded.

You could look through the authors thread on Doom9, but there are quite a few posts. http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=127611
