Why am I getting annoying buzzing and crackling static at times with all my movies that I watch in my laptop from MP4 and MKV files all of a sudden? I tried another Media Player and I got the same. This happens for about a minute every ten minutes during a movie. How can I stop it? I thought it was caused by movies compressed too much and now it's doing it with a movie compressed to 12GB. Thanks.

Play those *.mp4 and *.mkv files on another computer, preferably a desktop and see if the problem remains the same. I, for one, fully expect laughtops to buzz and crackle all the time, regardless.
For the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i".

  3. Nothing as such on my system, you may check your output wire, or try using new set of headphones. You can also try restarting your pc/laptop, it may solve your issue, sometimes happens with me as well.

This only happens when I watch a movie through the laptop speakers and I rebooted many times since because this has happened for days.

Maybe the sound drivers went corrupted,
    or the Registry went corrupted,
or the audio hardware is malfunctioning.
