Region hack for a Sony Bravia

Hunted high and low for a hack for region free on a Sony Bravia TV/DVD combi to no avail.

Anyone assist with a hack so I can watch my Region 1 DVDs?

Nope. Here's the sad truth.

1) Specialty players (TV/DVD, DVD/VCR, portables, car players, home theater systems) almost never have hacks. "Almost never" does NOT mean "If you look long enough you will find one". It means "It's been years since we've heard of any of those types of players having hacks, but maybe one player in that list, somewhere in the world, has a hack. Maybe."
2) Almost nothing Sony makes anywhere can be unlocked any more. Same for Samsung. If you want region free, don't buy players from those companies.
3) Almost always when you look for a hack and can't find one, it's because there isn't one. See #1 and #2 above.

I searched but when I found nothing I suspected as much... I wouldn't normally buy a TV/DVD combi, but as a pressy it was great... main system is driven by a computer rather than a dedicated DVD.
