I just installed Unlead VideoStudio 10 in an attempt to transfer my VHS tapes to digital. I hooked up the EasyCap from the VCR to computer.
When I go to the Capture screen, my only 2 options for Source appear to be Webcam or Digital TV source. I'm confused why the VCR isn't an option.
Can anyone get me started on the right foot?
Thank you

You won't see VCR. You might see something related to the EasyCap, unless the Ulead software thinks is is a webcam for some reason.
Are you sure the EasyCap drivers are installed? You can check if the drivers are installed by opening Device Manager and looking under "Sound, Video and Game Controllers". If the drivers for your device did not install, there will be a warning beside the device, which may or may not be called an EasyCap.
JMO these things are more trouble than they are worth. You would have been better served by spending about $40 to get a device from a company that at least maintains a page for driver downloads and provides you with software that was not created in 2006, and abandoned shortly thereafter when its maker was acquired by Corel.
[Edit] Of course maybe I'm wrong and you do not actually need help. Perhaps you are just a plant or a sockpuppet of another member here, "ezcapper", who resides in or near South Bend, Indiana the home of the Fighting Irish and is currently attempting to use this website to promote EasyCap devices.Last edited by usually_quiet; 3rd Oct 2014 at 23:11.

Under Sound, Video and Game Controllers all I see are Intel (R) Display Audio and RealTech High Definition Audio.
How do I install the rest?
Thanks for your help -
You'll find the device driver package on the cd that ulead product installed from and came with the device ... browse cd contents to locate and run it.
Run the driver installer package, reboot, connect device ... windows should install the required drivers ... then if all is well when you run ulead videostudio you should see the easycap device as video input option.
Those drivers are specific to that easycap unit so don't lose that disc. -
Of course, we're talking about an EasyCap device so there's no guaranty the drivers on the disc have anything to do with the capture device. Or that the device actually even works.
