Hi, I've got a new DVD disc with bad sectors created intentionally so that I am not able to make a backup of it. The DVD could playback correctly. After a lot of effort and time wasted, I 've given up the thought the thought of those AnyDVD, DVDFab or DVD Decypter. They are simply useless!! Replay Video Capture is very close to perfectness. As I playback the DVD with WMP, it could automatically detect that the video output is WMP, saving the video as well as the audio to become *.avi or something else. The quality of the video is preserved while the size is optimized automatically, becoming an indirect way of copying the video-DVD.

but is there any FREE or cheaper alternative to this software, Replay Video Capture?

    A new commercial dvd movie/serie?

You can try IceCream Screen Recorder and Open Broadcaster Software but I doubt that they are as simple as replay video capture.

And the capturing forum is only for analog capturing. I guess the dvd ripping forum is better. Moving you.
