What's the best device for capturing VHS tapes?

I know there are lots of devices out there that will allow you to capture VHS tapes even with macrovision. I have a device that will do it, called ADSTech DVD Xpress. It allows capture of ANY tape i have thrown at it. With macrovision, and without it. No dark video spots or anything have shown up in my videos. What are the better ones out there, that will capture at a higher quality? Can anyone out there recommend one? Thank you!
