    I thought Make MKV was free. mine says I have 26 days remaining out of 30 days.

    It's actually shareware. Some features are locked

    But it's freeware functions are only free while in "Beta" status.

    There is a new key or version posted every month, which the author updates

    I will buy it if the serial code I was given is invalid for any reason. The same applies to Handbrake. I wonder why Handbrake is called Handbrake. I'm amazed the ripping software for decrypting wasn't called Gear Stick. MakeMKV and Handbrake are very useful.
