    Handbrake used to work fine for me. But now when I go to open an .avi file, I get this problem:



    I already reinstalled and repaired net framework 4.0 but I'm still getting this problem. It's so frustrating.

    What should I do?

    This happens with this specific AVI or with any other video file?

    It won't even let me choose an .avi

    I get the error when I click "Source > Open File"

    Try use .NET Framework Cleanup Tool :

    restart computer then install framework 4.0 again
