    But I had to ask, since my very-little experience with Web forums never went beyond some tests with the
    most ancient examples from Matt's Script Archive

    If error persists, Baldrick needs to have a detailed look @ MySQL client configuration file in /etc/mysql/my.cnf or /etc/my.cnf.
