working with MMC 7.6.... how can i edit in this the bit rate (like i did with the mmc tool) such that i can custom the bit rate to excatly 1.15.

secondly why does the initialization wizard always start when i open up

bad news...your install is fubarred. that happened to me and I had to re-install MMC 7.6

You can set the bitrate by editing the "Video CD" preset (Custom->VideoCD->Edit).

I had the same problem about the initialization wizard and was only able to fix it by uninstalling MMC and deleting most of the MMC-related stuff in the registry under HKLM\Software\ATI Multimedia

yes i know you can "slide the bar" but that wont get you exactly 1.15 bit rate... using the mmc reg edit you can type in 1150000
and it worked on older versions of mmc

but thanks anyways...and after installing 7.6 mmc it cleared up the initialization wizard problem
