    i have converted avi to mpeg before...but i am new at this too...everytime a d/l an avi from kazaa or morpheous,and try to convert using tmpge all it will let me convert is the audio part of it...for the video part i get an error "not supported"...what am i doing wrong or missing?

    You're missing the codecs. Get the Kristal 4.3.3 codec from Tools.
