Hey all,
I'm looking for someone who would be interested in helping to re-cut some video footage from my videogame project and make it into a more interesting trailer. We're launching a Kickstarter campaign soon and I really want to grab people's attention with the footage. I can technically edit, but I'm not very experienced with putting everything together in an interesting way.
Here's my original cut:

I don't have any money to pay upfront, however I would be willing to sign a contract for payment upon completion of a successful KS campaign.
if you're interested, please reply or e-mail info(at)torquemod.com
Thank you.

I think instead of a video editor, you will need a lot more exciting crossfire/CQB scenes. (and perhaps better BGM)
Most of your sample video just shows navigating around and some long-range shooting. That can hardly get attention and even boring. -
Thanks for the reply Maverick,
I forgot to mention that I do have a lot more footage that's not in the current cut. Again, I can technically do this myself, I just don't have much experience with composition so I'm looking for someone who has more experience with that. -
The best content is engaging. Yours is kind of like an observer sitting in the stands. You dig.

Yeah, I'm going to try to re-design it. I've been downloading a lot of game trailers for reference today and I'll try re-cutting it later this week.

Try to use something that "flows" in a way that highlights the coolest parts.
Actually, that game looks pretty cool. I'm not a gamer though.Last edited by budwzr; 29th Apr 2014 at 23:55.
