    Can you help with region code to unlock that player to play DVD from different places!

    If you live in the USA/Canada, then you will NEVER unlock your player.

    If you live anywhere else you probably won't be able to unlock the player, but the chance is not zero. It's just very unlikely. Sony and Samsung players all around the world are the most difficult to unlock, even just for DVD playback.

    Some players in Australia and New Zealand can be unlocked and a few players Sony sells in Europe can be too, but if you have to ask for a code then one probably doesn't exist for your particular model.

    You're screwed just like people in North America are. We've never had a report of anybody in Africa being able to unlock a Sony BluRay player, not even for only DVD playback.
