I know the answer would be yes...but, I have went through many of them. Each one seems to display it's disadvantages after awhile. I bought an AD1100w and it would not play any XVCD whether it was close to the VCD standard or not. The AD500w was nice but it skipped on several DVDs. I am now testing the AD1500 and it appears to be the winner so far. It plays all the XVCDs, but it has this weird electronic *hickup* or chirp before each track which is a more suitable problem that one could deal with. Anyways, I was just wondering.

Go for an Apex AD800 it has more features than the others and supports DVD-R disks as well.
