I was sent a short video of my granddaughter on VIMEO. I'd like to download it and save it (.AVI?). In the VIMEO FAQs it says to click on "download", "below the video player". I cannot find that "download" button.

    Help please?

I don't have those 4 little boxes; if the producer did disable it, what can I do?

  5. Um, that's not vimeo. But there do seem to be download boxes on the site you pointed to.

Many of the normal download tools like VideoDownloadHelper (for Firefox) can still be used.

I'm afraid I'm not only a Newbie but I'm also not very tech-savvy.

I tried downloading both the HD MP4 and then the SD MP4 (I'm working on a desktop), but nothing happened.

  7. Maybe its time to post the link to one of your actual vimeo videos and let us take a crack at it.

@ChristianoA, that was an example, not OP's site.

I tried to upload it and it says "invalid file" (https://vimeo.com/album/2358461/video/64720266 - Invalid File)

  9. Nothing to upload, just post the link, which you did. But it's password protected on vimeo.

Talia's location on VIMEO was moved - so, please just look for the name (I'm attaching a "print-screen" picture).

  12. Use VideoDownloadHelper like smrpix suggested.

  13. Another option is to call the person who made the video and ask them to enable downloading -- shouldn't be a big deal since the video is password protected anyway.

  14. Is the video called "Talia Action"?
    If it is...

According to Internet Download Manager, this is the (current) address/link to the mp4 video:
