Hi,I'm totally new for video edit softwares, I wan to do my first project. I've got some captured videos images and audio files. I want to mix them and add some text and simple effects to it. What is the best software for doing all i want? Software's price is not a concern cuz i'm gonna use it a lot. Is Adobe Premier an appropriate choice?
I'd be grateful!

You may want to try Adobe Premiere Elements, it´s a simpler version of Premiere, and then upgrade to the Pro version when you feel you are enough familiar with more advanced techniques and settings. Also Sony´s Movie Studio could give you what you need and also yo can upgrade to Vegas Pro once you master it.

Thank you very much for your reply. Since i've heard Adobe products are somewhat similar and i'm familiar with Adobe photoshop i will use Adobe Premier. I may give Nero Vision a try if it is simple enough to use.
Is there any very simple and easy to use software for my purpose? Because right now i don't have enough time to learn a complex software like Adobe Premier but for next projects i will use Adobe Premier for sure.Last edited by metaalsider; 4th Oct 2013 at 01:50.

If you're going going to be using Premiere in the future, use it now.
You don't have to learn every aspect of it right up front. Stick to basic cutting and rearranging.
If you learn some other software first, you'll just have to un-learn it and start over again when yo do go to Premiere. -

If you´re looking for even easier to use solutions, you can also check out Pinnacle Studio , Cyberlink PowerDirector , MoviePlus X6 , Roxio Creator NXT , MAGIX Movie Edit Pro , etc... Most of them offer free trials so you can test them for yourself and see if one of them fits your needs.
Remember that for editing, specially HD video, it ´s strongly recomended to have a fairly powerful computer (specially CPU, RAM), a second Hard Drive (at least) just for your video files (O.S. , programs and applications remain in yor System Drive) and avoid having many programs or windows open while you´re editing, as well as keeping your disks properly defragmented, etc...

Try Premiere or Vegas or something, just don't get near Nero (or any of the apps in that bloatware suite). You may try & see for yourself if you're curious, but for a beginner the experience may range from a simple headache on one end to knocking out two front teeth on the other...
For the nth time, with the possible exception of certain Intel processors, I don't have/ever owned anything whose name starts with "i".
