Is My Blu-Ray Disc Backup Plan Sound?

I want to make backup discs of my Blu-Rays and play my backups on stand alone BR players

I have AnyDVD HD installed. Can I just use Imgburn when I want to make 1:1 copies and BDRebuilder when I want to compress to 25GB with just the movie and DTS-HD soundtrack? Is it really this simple?

I always rip the entire blu ray to the hard drive before trying to make a copy or work with BD Rebuilder. But no, the whole process is not difficult.

You have the right tools. Just use good media (for blu ray blank discs that means Verbatim, FTI Falcon and Panasonic). And burn at a moderate speed.

Your plan is probably not sound if you want to use ImgBurn to copy most discs as I explained in your other thread. You're not supposed to cross post essentially the same stuff in multiple threads at this website. It's one of our rules of service on "cross posting".
