I want to give FFT3Dfilter a try. I've looked at documentation but it's unclear what's supposed to be done with the various files that get unzipped.

Files from the zip file for version 2.1.1 I've struck out the files that I recognize.

Per this page http://avisynth.org.ru/fft3dfilter/fft3dfilter.html which is also bundled with the zip file you're supposed to install fast external FFTW library version 3

    Files from fftw3win32mingw

    Thanks for all assistance

  2. Put fft3dfilter.dll in AviSynth's pugins folder. put fftw3.dll in \Windows\System32\ (if running 32 bit Winows) or \Windows\SysWow64\ (if running 64 bit windows).

Okay thanks. What about the rest of it? They must be there for a reason.

I find there were earlier versions of both files already in both folders. Apparently from a previous filter install. I put an x at the end to leave them there but disable them in case these new ones cause a problem.

  4. The other files are source code, project files, documentation, etc.
