  1. Hi

I'm looking for a software that would allow me to edit videos with preselected motives. It's hard to explain so I'll give you an example of the workflow I imagine the software should provide.

I've got great footage say of a beach house with green posters on its walls.. Now I'd like to add customers photos to those "greenscreens", easy on edit, but time consuming and it should be automatized in order to get this profitable... second there is a tv in a beach house, and when we cut into the material that's on telly, it should be customers own material.

so this is what the software should do:

    1. I'll insert a file with photos and videos named correctly to the software
    2. the software takes the photo by name and video by name and places them on right places to the video
    3. the software automatically then creates a ready video file and sends it to where ever i need it to be sended (to desktop, or to cloud or somewhere...)

Is there a software that does this? Can I like preorder something from the edit software? what? who? where? What to read and what to google? youtube tutorials for dummies that don't know what to look for?

Hmm. I hope I used terms that are even close to actual language.

    Thanks,

    Antti.

  2. The word you want is "templates," particularly for After Effects or something similar. Everything will require some tweaking and nothing will automatically create your video and upload it, but you can create various macros and processes that will do what you want.

You're not ambitious enough though. This magic software should also automatically withdraw money from your client's checking, savings or pay pal and deposit directly to your Cayman Islands account.

  3. Thanks smrpix, I'll dive to templates next.

From Pay Pal to Cayman I've got this figured out, this is just the final part between me and my private jet.

Pip (picture-in-picture) with "corner pinning", unless the masks are non-rectangular and/or change in time. Then more advanced maskin, morphing/warping, and other keyframable tecniques are required.

    Scott

P.s. And it is always going to be different size/positions every time, so there is not much possible in the way of automation.

If you rename the pictures Pic1, Pic2, ... sequentially, in the "Master Project", then when you want to change them, just rename the new ones with the same sequence, and copy/overwrite the existing ones.

There are some skydiving tours in the Las Vegas area, and they manage to get a DVD/BD ready by the time the van gets back to the pickup point. Don't know how they do it, one of the tourists told me that. I was out filming them from the ground on my own.

You might take a look at "Vegasaurus". Stupid name, but seems heavy on scripting and automation.
