  1. I cant play some MKV files on my samsung tv. I read some threads and found that the best solution is by converting MKV profile high@5.1 to MKV profile 4.1 using Mediacoder. Well, it worked and I could play it on my samsung tv but the video has a problem. The video and the audio is not playing together. The video seems to move slower and it cause the audio to play faster. Please i need a solution for this.

If there is a better software to convert this profile, please suggest.

When you reconverted did you choose same settings as the video source? Especially the frame rate.
You can also try copy the audio source.

Or try another converter like vidcoder, handbrake, video to video converter.

  4. I would start be checking if the source actually conforms to Level 4.1

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.264/MPEG-4_AVC#Levels

in which case something like H 264 Level Editor could be use to change the level without the need to reencode.

    https://www.videohelp.com/tools/H264-AVC-Level-Editor

And in case you reencode make sure MediaCoders Picture Tab shows Original for Framerate

  5. i already tried to change the levell using H264 level editor. It was quite simple but my tv still cant play it.

I also checked my pictures tab and it already show original for framerate.

Extract the subtitle from the original mkv with mkvextractgui2 and add it to the new mkv with mkvmergegui or just name it as same name as the mkv like video.mkv and video.srt.

Or burn in the subtitle with video to video converter if your player doesn't support external/switchable subtitles.
