    I read on ebay that there is software to plat DVDs on a normal CD rom drive is this true??

    wut kinda crap is that? don't they filter stuff like that out from ebay....if they don't allow apex dvd players to be auctioned on ebay...dunno y they would allow crap like this to be on there....

    simply put:

    CD->CD-ROM
    DVD->DVD-ROM

    (they name them this way for a reason)

    kitty, those guys who are doing it will have already been warned...they will have their auctioning privileges be removed if they continue to do so...i believe i read this in another thread....

    this is because apex supposedly didn't pay philips for royalties fees for using DVD technology in their dvd players, so philips wants to prevent their auction on ebay
