Hello,I have recently bought Indiana Jones trilogy blu ray.
I want to write the movie parts 1,2,3 on empty discs containing ONLY:
-Movie
-DTS master audio ENG
-Greek subtitles (srt external, that is synchronised)
So,
the problem is that I managed to create only the second part of the trilogy and worked perfect.
1 and 3 parts, does not play normal and without subs.
I use programs TS muxer,BD info and Img burn.
Specificly,
I see with BD info wich is the playlist I need and it shows me the file with name "00800"
Then I open it with TS muxer,I delete other sounds-subs and i add the external srt GR subs.
When it finishes the muxing process I try to open the new playlist that was created with Media player Classic and it shows me
that the whole movie is 13 minutes (and of course it doesn't show me gr subs)!!!!!!!!!!
if i try to open the new created stream file it plays correct and shows me almost 2 hours remaining time.
The same problem happens with part 3 of the trilogy.
How did part 2 worked perfect????????

Unfortunately I tried the software you suggested but I found it difficult to use (after having used TS muxer) and I deleted it.
Anyway,is there anything you can think that might is the cause of the problem?
Why did I manage to mux the second movie, burn it and reproduce it correctly?
What do the other two movies differ?
After muxing the defective movie,I try to play the appropriate playlist file and the total time is 13 min on the player, how can this happen and why?Isn't it strange?
I have muxed more than 30 movies, all at the same way and all worked...
I believe that there is a logical explanation...Maybe I must change some of the settings of TS muxer...Last edited by Iron Maiden UK; 11th Mar 2013 at 14:56.

At no time in your post do you mention ripping. Are you ripping? If yes, what are you using to rip? DVDFab HD Decrypter? AnyDVD HD? Something else?
I don't see how this could possibly work if you aren't ripping, but since you don't mention it, I have to ask if you are doing it. -
I finally found what is the problem but I don't know how to fix it...
I noticed that only in the defective parts (1 & 3) of the trilogy Indiana Jones in 2 time points the genuine Eng subtitles appear on the top of the screen because at the bottom there is a map to see,so the director choosed the up side of screen to set the subs.
So,when I add external Greek subs SRT maybe the TS muxer is "confused" and creates a defective movie file...
To verify this,I had already the movie in the HDD so I tried not to add external subs but I just reduced the useless information,I just kept (VIDEO + DTS master audio ENG + ENG PGS).
The new created file worked perfect!
So,
1) I have subtitle workshop + subtitle edit softwares.
The first software doesn't seem to have the ability to raise the subs at the top of screen.
The second is totally unknown to me but I noticed it only opens "SUP" files.
So how do I make my srt => sup file and what is the next step?
2) How can I find the 4 "upper" time points in movies (2 in each) to edit them?Eg using subtitle edit,is it possible?
The simpliest way is to watch the movies again but I am bored...
3) If on Greek srt sub,I just delete these points (both their time info) and add them as usually, will it work?
Thank you ! -
Jman 98,
I tried to run the program you suggested but it appeared a message "unsupported sup file..."
I tried to open the English original sup file and work on it,I was ready to translate...
So, is there any programm that can edit sup files?
I want to see the English text and straight translate on it... -
I found what was the problem.
It had nothing to do with what I concluded in the previous post.
You won't believe what was the real problem.
Simply...
the 2 srt (of 3) Greek subs were (for some reason) defective.
I noticed that when the subtitle workshop denied to open the files.
I downloaded the good ones, everything went fine, and finally burned on empty BR discs and played OK.
Thanks everyone for suggestions-advices ! -
And there is a lesson for us all: 'A bad workman blames his tools'.
Always check file integrity. Is it just me or are botched retail dups becoming more frequent these days?Last edited by transporterfan; 15th Mar 2013 at 06:09.
