Reading in bad light does not effect (make it worse) your eyesight. Eating carrots does not effect(make it better) your eyesight.
    Does that answer your question?

Also, according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Goji berry and Chrysanthemum can help tired eyes and improve
eyesight if you have a pattern of Yin deficiency and stress on the Liver.

The answer is no. If by "Extended" you mean the extended gamut of YCC (aka xvYCC) which required a techno-change in HDMI (don't get me started on the whole silly HDMI nonsense) so that a gamut wider than 16-240 could work with xvYCC-capable HDTV's. The wider YCC gamut is still within the capabilities of human vision. So far, xvYCC looks like crap on most TV's. Thorough monitor calibration is required, which is beyond the control set of many monitors and of most consumers.

Bad light -> bad contrast -> difficulty reading -> eye muscle strain -> reduced acuity (if long term)

Carrots -> vitamin A -> better growth of receptors, better efficiency of neuron transfer -> better eyesight.

More on topic, I'm guessing the OP wants to know of visible spectral improvements with those technologies. Yes, there are, but they are incremental, costly, and require end-to-end improvement for gains to truly be noticeable.

Yeah. What I said, more or less, but without the veggies. To get enough vitamin A you'd need two bushels of carrots or a pint of codfish oil daily. Don't know if I could handle that.

Guys, just look at his previous threads and think about whether you might be feeding the trolls by continuing to reply to crap like this. I'm sure that he is not at all interested in your replies and simply trying to get you all sucked into another pointless discussion like his interlaced vs. progressive thread.

Hm. You could be right. Then again, the O.P. reads stuff but doesn't seem to understand it so well (language barrier?), and often reads stuff (where, I don't know, as no source or video is ever posted) without simply mounting a video to see what happens in certain situations. And methinks the O.P. doesn't see that well.

And then again, you could be absolutely correct. These threads have me looking up detailed doodoo I never worried about and simply accepted, or could see it in front of me.

And some people can't see the forest for the trees.

My response was more to counter hech54 than to truly answer the OP with instruction anyway. No, I'm not going down that road this time.

Don't blame you, I don't see how it go further anyway. The answer is "No". Period. End. -30-

  11. If you can see it, it "effects" your eyes. The effect isn't necessarily positive or negative.
