I have created a Big screen TV slideshow of beautiful art with a light classical soundtrack. I used Nero Video 12 to create it as a playable AVCHD DVD.
I am just on the verge of marketing it via my e-commerce website using Google Adwords, and also other marketing strategies.
I don't want people buying it and copying it and reselling it. Is there any way to copy protect it.
Nero has a feature called SecureDisc, but ath involves giving it a password to even access the dvd files and I don't want that
Any suggestions that anyone has tried on a DVD that has already been burned. I don't want to re-author it.
Thanks,
Allen

I know if someone is knowledgeable and determined they can find a way to copy, but what about preventing just the average guy from putting my dvd in one dvd slot and a blank in another and typing 'copy' ? Or using Nero or Roxio to do a copy?
Any way to protect against a just basic copy ?

No! All the copy protection methods cost money that I doubt would make your project viable. If your market is via an eMarket company then anyone savvy enough to cope with the Internet would be able to copy if they wanted to. I know a 88 year old lady who worked out DVDShrink...need I say more? So basically the answer is unless you are a studio with big sales the answer is a resounding NO!

Man, Baldrick, I wish it were possible to create a 'bot script that redirected these kinds of questions to the stickies without creating YET ANOTHER LAME "CAN I COPY PROTECT MY DVD?" thread...
@OP, If you had done the simple task of using the "SEARCH" box, you would have found about 50+ exhaustive threads on the subject, ALL of which result in a resounding "NO".
There are no bad questions, except those which are asked over and over and over and over and over again.
