Okey. It looks fine in chrome(builtin adobe flash player) but like this in firefox(adobes external player):
-
MTS file (Canon LEGRIA HF G25, 24Mbit/s max settings) were transcoded into 8Mbit/s x.264 FLV video with Xmedia recode. The very best quality settings in x.264 encoder. -
I would try put it in a mp4 and see if it works better. Yes, mp4 works fine i flash.
Or you might have too complex h264 levels/settings for adobes flash player.
Or it might be something wrong with xmedia recode, some versions are very buggy. -
Here is the mp4 version: http://dvb-t.atw.hu/mp4.html
It couldn't help -
Better but a pixel party.
What are your h264/x264 settings?? -
HERE ARE MY X.264 options:
Here is the original MTS camcorder file: http://dictaphone.atw.hu/mozdony.MTS (it's only 67Mbyte)Last edited by Stears555; 16th Jan 2013 at 12:19.

works fine here with chrome and firefox, no image with IE 9
things that seem a bit funny in the x264 settings:
1. vbv values are below the bitrate you had chosen. -> seems to be wrond
2. preset Placebo? I would have gone for some thing faster.
3. why enabled blu-ray compatibility for streaming content? -
-
seeking is partly function of keyframe interval. Reduce the --keyint setting for better (finer gradations) seeking (in your screenshot it's labelled "keyframe interval" )
vbv values are problematic as selur said above
Don't use open-gop or weightp for flash. There is a decoding bug on linux with firefox (at least there used to be, it might have been patched) -
-> you might want to look for a gui which has some web streaming presets or read up on the x264 settings.
can scroll only 3 part of the video: The beginning the middle and the end of the video -
-
Disable hardware decoding in Adobe's Flash player (you have to exit the player and restart it for the change to take effect).
Or use very short GOPs to minimize the problem. Like --keyint=12 (a half second at 25 fps). That will kill the compression though.Last edited by jagabo; 17th Jan 2013 at 08:45.
