    thank you for your reply october262! I just found in the internet a hack for this player. I succesfully hacked my player.

    By the way, to anyone interested, the hack is simple.

    Insert a DVD which has a different region code to your player. After it says that the DVD is from a different region. Open the disc tray, without taking out the DVD, and press 99990. Close the tray and again and the DVD is now set to play DVDs from all regions.
