Yep X-Play is over at the end of the year.

I can't say its been the same since Adam Sessler left but it was still useful. I guess the writing was really on the wall when they dumped the online FEEDBACK show that was posted once a week. They said they were going to bring it back, well we'll see about that. However maybe they keep that with whoever stays on the network.

Its a shame. I liked it. It was a bit over the top at times to be sure. Also they really paired down the reviews to snippets but at least they still showed the meat of the games.

    ------------

So is there anything else out there worth replacing my need for a show like X-Play? Is it now relegated to online podcasts only? Whats relevant anymore?

I guess nobody cares about this but if anyone is interested the shows finale is Jan 23rd. Which seems kind of odd because they said they just had their last regular show this past week.

Why they'd go almost a month between the last "regular" show and the finale is kinda weird. Maybe its whatever they are doing with the G4 station itself. They want sendoff when they switch formats I guess.

I would have thought they would wrap it up in the calendar year and not carry it over.

Anyway I think they said it was going to be an hour finale if I remember right. And guest stars. I wonder if they are going to have Adam Sessler on it? that would be awkward. I would like him to be on the finale but I don't know if he would be willing.

I do like the fact that they are re-running older shows from four or five years ago now.
