Hi,

Please, anybody could have success by unlocking the DVD region for Sony BDV-N790W?

I could see that many Sony DVD players models can be unlocked using similar hacking codes.
Also there are remote controls like this one that should work on this model - you can see the full list of supported Sony models:

Anyway, I tried this remote control and didn't work. I tried to access the service menu, and couldn't find the way to do it. As the console buttons are based on touch-screen technology, there's no way to use the "press play, eject and power..." - when the console is turned off you can't see the buttons. Anyway, I tried.

I appreciate any news about this model and I can share what I've already done, like the remote control above.
