Hello all,
I have a network socket in my living room wall, connect through high capacity Ethernet to my Synology DS212+ NAS server.
And on the server I have tons of (.m2ts NTSC 1920x1080 29fps AVCHD video) video filesI took using my Canon F10.
Which TV brand would know to connect to the NAS, browse and display those files without me having to convert them?
Regards,
Avi

Most Sony and Panasonic TV's with a USB port will support AVCHD, I don't know any TV that allows streaming via an ethernet port. Buy a TV or Blu-Ray player with a USB port and load the files on an external HDD, another option is to stream the files via Wi-Fi to a TV or Blu-Ray player with built-in Wi-Fi.*
*the only drawback is the server will convert the files with quality loss.Last edited by MOVIEGEEK; 28th Nov 2012 at 11:04.
